Blanket appeal
The ongoing threat of malnutrition is further compounded as Afghanistan prepares for yet another bleak and bitter winter. We will be trying to offer some semblance of warmth with the supply of warm blankets to the poor and destitute so they can survive the life-threatening winter.
Winters in Afghanistan are usually brutal and can kill the most vulnerable, both young and old. We are supporting the distribution of 2,300 blankets, at a cost of £18 each. Let us help ward off the bitter cold by sponsoring a warm blanket today.
