BCT Sponsored Student Qualifies

Great news! 

Daud, a clinical officer based in Kenya who was sponsored by BCT to undertake his Bachelor of Science in Opthamology and Cataract Surgery, has passed his final qualifying examinations!

He will be awarded his degree during the University’s graduation ceremony next year. As a fully qualified clinician and surgeon, he will add capacity to the BCT Eye Camps as well as delivery of ophthalmic services in Kenya.

Daud comes from very humble beginnings; he used to wash laundry to pay for his tuition fees. We are immensely proud of his achievements and look forward to him joining the team and assisting with cataract surgeries in and around the poorest regions of Kenya.
